Dear ECTC,

 

Today the University of Vermont suspended all events with more than 25 people until further notice and joins many other colleges and universities in moving to remote learning approaches for the remainder of the semester (due to COVID-19 concerns). In addition several of our member schools report that they are no longer allowed to travel, making an alternative tournament location unworkable in terms of participation.

 

With that in mind the fifth tournament of the ECTC 2019-2020 season (planned for April 18th 2020 at UVM) has been canceled. 

 

We thank everyone for their understanding and appreciate you all for making it a great season and for being part of what makes the ECTC special. There will be a separate note coming shortly on end of season recognition and awards.

 

Best wishes for good health and navigating this unusual end to the semester. We hope to see you at MIT and the NCTA championships in the fall!
