Interests: When I'm not doing Taekwondo, I am acting, writing, or directing for both theatre and film. I've been acting since I was very little and discovered my love of writing while in college, while I've just recently started dipping my toes into directing. I'm moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

More about Carol: In addition to being a 4th degree in Taekwondo, I am also a 3rd degree in Goju Shorei Weapons.

Thoughts on the ECTC (INCTL) or Taekwondo in general: What has kept me in Taekwondo since I was 10 is the family that doing a martial art creates. Nothing exemplifies this like the ECTC. Competing on three person teams creates a stronger camaraderie between teammates because you cannot win by yourself. The competition format also allows everyone to compete, who wants to, allowing the family to be as big as it can be. Additionally, due to the strong ties between the different college teams, our Taekwondo family extends across the entire league and friendships are not bound to only our own team. The tournament experiences are always positive because win or lose we are still family.
