More about Emily:

In the last three years I have travelled to 11 different countries including India, Nepal, Tibet, Israel and the Dominican Republic. This summer I am travelling to Thailand to bike and kayak around the coast. While at NYU I am studying education and educational policy as effected by human rights conflict especially in Tibet, Nepal and India

Thoughts about the INCTL and Taekwondo in general:

I have been training in TKD for the last 16 years. It is the biggest and most important part of my life. On the days when things go wrong you can always find my in the Dojang! I have been sparring for as long as I have been training and have also trained in point sparring and have won AAU Nationals in that discipline. The INCTL has given me an outlet for training while in graduate school and I am excited to be involved with the all star team for my last INCTL season. NYU's team has grown in size and stature and I am so lucky to have found great coaches and great partners.
